Privacy Policy

Reclaim ("we," "our," or "the app") is an iOS app that helps you manage your own screen time. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it's stored, and what happens to it.

What data we handle

Account data (stored on our servers via Supabase)

• Email address
• Authentication credentials — password hash, or a Sign in with Google / Sign in with Apple token. We never see your password if you use those providers.
• User account identifier

Rule data (stored on our servers via Supabase)

• Names you give your rules
• Schedule settings — time windows, daily limits, weekdays
• References to apps and websites you've selected to block

On-device only — never transmitted

• Your Screen Time data (which apps you've used, for how long, when). Apple's Screen Time framework restricts this data to a sandboxed extension on your device. Reclaim reads it to display your top apps and enforce daily limits, but it never leaves your phone. We cannot access it even if we wanted to.
• The specific apps you've selected to block. Apple represents these as opaque tokens that are meaningful only on your device.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data
• We don't run advertising
• We don't use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
• We don't build a profile of your app usage
• We don't share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (see below)

Third parties

• Supabase — hosts our authentication database and rule storage. Privacy policy
• Apple — provides the App Store, Sign in with Apple, and the Screen Time framework. Privacy policy
• Google — provides Sign in with Google if you choose that option. Privacy policy

Your rights

• Access or export your data — email us at the address below
• Delete your account and all associated data — sign in, tap the account menu, and choose "Delete Account," or email us and we'll do it manually within 30 days
• Correct inaccurate data — email us at the address below

If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA. Contact us to exercise them.

Data retention

• Account and rule data: kept as long as your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of an account-deletion request.
• On-device Screen Time data: managed by iOS, not by us. Clear it via iOS Settings → Screen Time.

Children

Reclaim is intended for adults managing their own screen time. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or 16 in the EU). If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with a new "Effective date" at the top. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
